Focus Business Areas

HEALTH

Our main objective is to prevent potential health crisis due to food safety and handling. The bar for food operators will be raised as it creates awareness on food hygiene.

Project Experience

  • Designed and set up convenience stores across multiple Multinational companies and operated these stores (end to end) for up to nearly 20 years, with sales valued at RM44 Million.
  • Set up and managed industrial catering for Multinationals valued at RM20 Million.
  • Facilities Management for leading University focusing on housekeeping and civil works valued at RM3 Million.
  • Involved in the architectural design, development and project management of multiple large scale ICT projects valued up to RM200 Million.
  • Provided Strategic Advisory services to organisations both in Malaysia and other countries (Singapore, Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, Japan) in relation to business growth and transformational road mapping.

Our Team Key Team Members

Mohan Kumar

(Chief Executive Officer)


The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Health Idea Solution (MAHIS), Mohan has qualifications in Masters and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the F&B Sector and was a pioneer in setting up convenient stores all over Peninsular Malaysia. In addition, he has vital exposure in the F&B Training environment.

Mohan is also a seasoned entrepreneur, having established various businesses over the years and is recognized by his industry peers as having contributed significantly to the F&B sector.

Razali Bin Ahmad

(Executive Director)


Razali Bin Ahmad has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from University Technology of Malaysia.

He has been working as an instructor at the Advanced Skill Training Institute, Ministry Of Youth & Sports. He has notched up experience in Senior Engineer Plant Maintenance, has been an assistant Manager of Plant Maintenance & Security as well as a Manager of General Affairs & Security, based with Multinational corporation, SONY.

He has developed many years of experience creating and increasing productivity and efficiency.




Bethany Poh Kim Choo

(Chief Operating Officer)


Bethany has a degree in Business Administration from Olympia Business School and more than 15 years experience in the F&B sector.

She has vital experience in setting up restaurants, cafés, canteens and convenient stores as well as handling a chain of F&B outlets for SONY, HITACHI, JVC, TDK, NATIONAL, CASIO, EPSON and other multinationals.

In addition, she has carved up relevant F&B training industry experience over the years.






Haslina Hamidon

(Training and Content Lead)


Haslina Hamidon graduated with an MBA from Kensington University, United Kingdom in 2001 majoring in Marketing Management. Prior to obtaining her Master’s degree she had earlier completed her Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK).
She has vast experience in marketing and training in both commercial and government sectors.

Haslina has helped develop a blueprint for human capital development for the country’s ICT industry and she has also developed and conducted programmes for graduate students. In addition, she has vast exposure in designing and implementation of Food Safety and Handling training programmes.







Srithren Krishnan

(Human Resources Director)


Sri has more than 25 years of experience as a HR Practitioner and has vast experience in working for  international companies outside Malaysia. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of New Castle, Australia.

He has been involved in the Food and Beverage industry, particularly, in the confectionary business and international franchising.

Sri completed his Pastry and Bread making course with the Malaysian Institute of Baking and is mainly involved in human resources and training.








Mr. Gerard M.Pillai

(Strategic Planning Director)

Gerard M. Pillai is the Strategic Planning Director of Malaysian Health Idea Solution (MAHIS) and is primarily involved in the ICT and Strategic Road Mapping of the business.

Gerard has a MBA in International Management from RMIT University Australia and a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. His work stints include positions in one of the largest Consulting companies in the world, Coopers & Lybrand (Now known as Price Waterhouse Coopers), a United Nations funded Inter – Governmental Agency serving Asia-Pacific countries and projects with a fund value of more than RM50 million.

He is currently pursuing his doctorate at a leading University.
